During October 16th and 18th 2013, the hydrocephalus treatment seminars were held by iMedcare and SOPHYSA. Prof. Eric SCHMIDT, famous neurosurgeon expert from Toulouse University, Mr. Philippe NEGRE, CEO of SOPHYSA and Mr. Julien LARONZE, sales director of SOPHYSA, were invited to this event.

 The seminars were held in three cities – Shenyang, Tianjin and Guangzhou. Total more than 150 neurosurgeons took part in these seminars.

  the 1st city: Shenyang

 The 1st seminar was held in Shenyang, the capital city of Liaoning Province. We invited Prof. LIU Yunhui, director of Shenyang Shengjing Hospital, as the chairman. Around 30 experts from Liaoning Province attended this seminar.

 On the meeting, Prof. SCHMIDT, Prof. LIU and Mr. Philippe all made wonderful speeches. Prof. SCHMIDT made two topics, one is “Modern approach of hydrocephalus in ageing population” and the other is “What is intracranial pressure? From biophysics to clinical bedside”. Prof. LIU shared his experience in V-S shunt and Mr. Philippe introduced the SOPHYSA.

  the 2nd city: Tianjin

 The 2nd seminar was held in Tianjin. We invited Prof. ZHANG Sai, director of the Armed Police General Hospital, as the chairman. Around 70 doctors attended this seminar.

 Prof. SCHMIDT gave very detailed introduction of hydrocephalus & ICP monitoring in his presentation. The attendants showed great interest on these topics, which generated quite lot of questions. Prof. Schmidt gave a detailed explanation for all these questions.

  the 3rd city: Guangzhou

 The 3rd seminar was held in Guangzhou, a city has saying "Eat in Guangzhou". We invited Prof. KE Yiquan, director of Zhujiang Hospital, and Prof. WANG Haijun, director of Zhongshan Hospital, as the Chairman. Around 60 experts from Guangdong Province attended this seminar.

 In the middle part of the seminar, we held the openning ceremony of the SOPHYSA Reference Center in Zhujiang Hospital. This is the first reference center for SOPHYSA in China, but also a milestone for SOPHYSA product in Ch
