29th-30th,Aug, “The cranial base and vascular operation training class in Beijing Tiantan Hospital 2014”was successfully hold jointly by Tiantan Hospital and iMedcare in Sofitel Wanda Beijing Hotel and Tiantan Hospital Microscope Department of Neurosurgery Training Center.

 The training class of first day was executed in Sofitel Wanda Beijing Hotel. We invited top experts attended this class and gave professional speeches. These experts are well-known neurosurgeons of cranial base and vascular operation: Professor FUKUSHIMA, a famous expert of neurosurgery and as director of the Center for Skull Base Surgery in Pittsburgh; Professor WANG Shuo, Neurosurgery Vice-director of Beijing Tian Tan Hospital, Vice-chairman of the Chinese Medical Association Neurosurgery Society; Professor Zhao Yuanli, Secretary of the Chinese Medical Association Neurosurgery Society、Chairman of the Young Committee; Professor You Chao, Neurosurgery director of Sichuan West China Hospital, Member of the standing committee of the Chinese Medical Association Neurosurgery Society; Professor TONG Xiaoguang, Director of the 15th Neurosurgery Department of Tianjin Huan Hu Hospital, Member of the Expert Committee of Chinese Congress of Neurological Surgeons Nerve Intervenient Society. About 120 young neurosurgeons coming from 18 provinces attended this training class.

 The training class of second day was executed in Tiantan Hospital Microscope Department of Neurosurgery Training Center. Professor Fukushima gave a live operation and guided the anatomy of cranial base, the clipping operation of aneurysm and the microsurgical operation of microvascular anastomosis. 21 young neurosurgeons successfully enrolled and attended authentic practice, and another 20 young neurosurgeons follow the guide of professor Fukushima to practice a whole day.

 iMedcare and MIZUHO sponsored this training class, and cooperated with neurosurgery hospital to bring advanced neurosurgical training to China for the first time. Professor WANG Shuo gave an opening speech, and introduced Prof. Fukushima.

Prof. Fukushima showed the video of aneurysm clipping operation, and answered the question from Chinese neurosurgeons.

Prof. YOU Chao and Prof. WANG Shuo gave wonderful speech separately. Their topics were strongly practical in aneurysm clipping operation.

Prof. TONG Xiaoguang shared his experience: complex intracranial aneurysm bypass surgery and surgical approach o skull base tumors. Many experts in the class were interested in his works, and discussed some related questions with him.

At last, all experts discussed these topics.

MIZUHO exhibited their devices of neurosurgery operation, lots of neurosurgeons were attracted by MIZUHO’s products.

The second day’s training class, Professor FUKUSHIMA gave a live guidance.
