On December 1, 2020, the Pediatric hydrocephalus standardized treatment Seminar was successfully held in Xiamen，which was organized by the Children’s Hospital of Fudan University and the Children’s Hospital of Fudan University Xiamen Branch, and co-organized by Sophysa Brain Trauma College. This forum was held via online and offline synchronous connection with more than hundreds neurosurgeons join actively.

Prof. Li Hao, director of neurosurgery of Children’s Hospital of Fudan University, was invited as the chairman and Prof. He Xiaosheng, Prof. Bao Nan, Prof.Li Lusheng were invited as conference host of this meeting.

We also invited several of the top neurological experts in the field of Pediatric hydrocephalus to give us wonderful special reports. They are Prof. Fu Jidi from Aviation General Hospital of China Medical University, Prof. Shi Hangyu from Xi’an Children’s Hospital, Prof. Shen Zhipeng from Children’s Hospital, ZHEJIANG University School of Medicine, Prof. Yang Lei from Kunming Children’s Hospital, Dr. Xue Ping from Children’s Hospital of Fudan University. The discussion mainly focused on the diagnosis and treatment of infection after ventricle peritoneal shunt, the application of OMMAYA in the treatment of pediatric hydrocephalus, and the selection of shunt for pediatric hydrocephalus.

Through this meeting, all the experts present their work and research results for many years. iMedcare will build an academic communication platform for pediatric neurosurgeons to share their clinic experience on the treatment of hydrocephalus.
